About This Opportunity
Aviário Studio Large Format Printmaking Residency aims to promote the production and dissemination of Printmaking done in a large format. Artists can develop projects using a wide range of techniques, from relief to intaglio, screen printing, transfer, monotype, among others.
An art residency provides the technical conditions, time, and space to develop ideas and try new approaches. It is a moment that promotes connection between artists from different backgrounds and consequently the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

Note
Artists must be over 21 years old at the time of arrival. Artists must ensure they are able to cover the costs of the Residency fee, travel, materials and food. Pets are not allowed. Open to artists based anywhere in the world. May apply as a team but must apply and be accepted individually.

Overview
€600-€1,800 residency fee (2-6 weeks) for accommodation in shared house, studio access, and workshop equipment access. Travel, materials, and meals not included.

Detailed Breakdown
Residency Fee includes: accommodation in a shared house, studio access during opening hours (Mon.-Fri. from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), access to the workshops and equipment according to each participant experience, project discussion. Fee structure: 2 weeks - 600 €, 3 weeks - 900 €, 4 weeks - 1200 €, 5 weeks - 1500 €, 6 weeks - 1800 €. Materials and meals not included. Studio Support (training or assistance) is 15€ per hour. Artists must cover the costs of the Residency fee, travel, materials and food.
