“The Silence that Shapes”
Open call for the 24th DongGang International Photo Festival, held July 17–October 11, 2026 in Yeongwol, South Korea. Theme: 'The Silence that Shapes' — an inquiry into how humans project meaning onto the natural world, and what landscapes reveal when stripped of narrative and interpretation. Individuals and collectives may submit 8–12 photographs from a particular series or body of work. Selected 15–20 artists exhibit at the festival; 'Artist of the Year' (individual or team) receives a solo exhibition with production provided, plus travel and accommodation to attend the opening.

8–12 JPEG or TIFF images (minimum 4000 pixels on the long side), full name, mobile/phone number, email address, postal address, a concise one-page CV or short biography, and an artist's statement (short writeup about the body of work). Submit via email to opencall@dgphotofestival.com or via WeTransfer. Incomplete submissions will be rejected.
