Four-day post production intensive for filmmakers who identify as women, focusing on narrative editing, audio mixing, and colour correction for the outdoor film genre. Led by professionals including award-winning director Andrea Wing and Well Travelled Collective. Workshops with faculty cover technical filmmaking skills, compelling narrative, and mountain/adventure filmmaking themes, with feedback on works-in-progress and peer strategy sharing. Program includes on-campus lodging and meals at Banff Centre, shared production spaces, and group seminars. Applicants must have some filmmaking experience and have completed at least one film screened in a professional environment.

Two-page resume or CV; one-page cover letter explaining interest and goals (include laptop brand/type and editing software if accepted); two-page project proposal including theme and relevance; video sizzle reel or links to past films. Complete Financial Aid section in SlideRoom to be considered for scholarships.
Note
Open to filmmakers who identify as women, 18+. Must have some experience in project planning, camera work, sound capture, pitching, location skills, editing, and distribution. Must have completed at least one film screened in a professional environment. Domestic and international applications welcome. Note: Banff Centre programs do not meet eligibility requirements for a Canadian Student Visa; accepted international participants must obtain a Visitor Visa. Program conducted in English.
Housing Provided
Single bedroom on Banff Centre campus included in program fee for the duration of the program.
Studio Access
Shared production spaces and collaborative areas on campus.
Participants chosen by an adjudication panel of internal and external assessors. Due to high volume, individual feedback will not be provided.
