Month-long, self-directed residency for mid-career Canadian photo-based artists supporting independent research, creative exploration, and project development across a broad range of creative photo practices. The award winner has 24/7 access to the Crich Studio, a Leighton Artist Studio featuring private analogue darkroom facilities, facilitated access to digital print production, and technical support from the photography facilitator at Banff Centre. Note
Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible under the terms of the Jay Treaty. Mid-career defined as minimum 10 exhibitions in a professional context (artist-run centres, public art galleries, or recognized photo festivals), 8–15 years of professional arts experience, and demonstrated commitment to professional practice.
