  • Anonymous reviewer IDs replace artist names
  • Configurable field hiding (name, email, phone, location)
  • Organization admins retain full visibility

Blind Review System

Ensure fair and unbiased evaluation with our blind review feature. Reviewers see only the work and application content, not the artist's identity.

How It Works

When blind review is enabled for an opportunity:

  • Artist names are replaced with anonymous IDs
  • Personal information is hidden from reviewers
  • Only the work and application content are visible
  • Organization admins can still see full information

What Gets Hidden

You can choose which fields to hide:

  • Artist name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Location
  • Any other identifying information

Benefits

Fair Evaluation:

  • Eliminate unconscious bias
  • Focus on the work itself
  • Ensure equal opportunity for all applicants

Professional Standards:

  • Meet best practices for juried exhibitions
  • Align with grant and residency review processes
  • Build trust with applicants

Better Decisions:

  • Select work based on merit
  • Discover new talent without preconceptions
  • Build diverse and exciting programs

When to Use

Blind review is perfect for:

  • Juried exhibitions
  • Grant applications
  • Residency programs
  • Any opportunity where fairness is paramount

Enable blind review when creating or editing an opportunity to ensure every application gets a fair evaluation.
